European Commission Introduces Major Reforms to GDPR and the AI Act

The European Commission has unveiled its Digital Omnibus Regulation Proposal and Digital Omnibus on AI Regulation Proposal on November 19th. These draft proposals, released less than a decade after the implementation of the EU's benchmark General Data Protection Regulation, signify a new direction in Brussels' digital regulation strategy, aligning with its recently established European Data Union Strategy.
